I think even the stock and coolers have a backplate. The only ones without it seem to be the bad Intel models, haha.
You'll need to obtain a replacement. It's likely that those with AMD might have one or two backup units available.

Ryzen coolers lack a black plate; they feature two small protrusions that are already included with the motherboards, and some aftermarket models also use them. However, they seem absent in certain options. It might be that the necessary research wasn’t conducted.
On Amazon, looking up “AM4 Bracket” shows many choices around $10.
Spire seems damaged based on the video. Wraith still has the usual clips. Updated: A better clip exists now—Spire doesn't require a backplate.
