You have a CPU installation issue with the motherboard. Check the back and front photos for guidance on mounting the CPU correctly. Since you're new, look for clear instructions or videos that match the board design.

The openings are meant for the CPU cooler and the middle grey section is the CPU socket. To access it, push the silver lever up if you're unsure—watch a YouTube video for more details.

You need a way to hold the CPU without screws or fasteners, either on the front or back of the motherboard. The cooler has four screws, but without a backplate it’s hard to secure the CPU in place.

The processor doesn’t have screws, seems like you’re referring to the cooler. You might need a backplate for that. Could you share a picture of your CPU so I can help?

Share a video that walks through assembling a computer in easy steps. It will make the process clear and straightforward, helping you avoid mistakes that could harm your PC if you misplace it.

Just watch the video on how to place it inside the socked case above. But you really need that backplate—are you sure you don’t already have it? If you get a new cooler, it should be included in the box.

I believe the stock cooler for the Ryzen lacks the backplate, though it is included with the motherboard.

Thank you. I received the motherboard, but it appears the backplate is missing.
