My C drive is roughly 741 GB, how long would BitLocker take to decrypt it? If it really matters, my specs are quite high and the drive is an NVMe. I'm really hoping this works as I'm at my wits end.
Long story:
I planned a clean reinstall of my main drive and didn't realize BitLocker was already installed (I've been spending six hours trying to figure out why it wasn't working). So I began the process of removing BitLocker from my main drive so I could proceed with the installation, hoping it would succeed.
My details are:
AMD Ryzen 9 7900X Raphael
32 GB RAM
Radeon RX 7900 XTX
1 TB Samsung NVMe (741 GB used)
The installation doesn't require decryption. Just boot from the Win 11 USB you made, begin the setup, and remove all current partitions, then proceed.
