I selected this game early this year during a discount. I’m really enjoying it and the world looks stunning. But I’m struggling to keep a consistent 60fps in Alexandria’s main area. I’ve lowered the settings to medium and haven’t noticed much better performance. Outside the city, most places run smoothly at 50-60fps. Only the very crowded spots show big drops, usually in the low 40s. My temperatures are normal—CPU around 55-60°C and GPU maxing out at 70°C. I’m playing on a 3440x1440 monitor with a 1080 Ti and Ryzen 1800x. Could the CPU be too heavy for the GPU in busy cities?

The game suffers from poor optimization, causing stuttering across all systems. Compare it to Blighttown from DKS1.

Hey there! What you're feeling is totally understandable. It sounds like you're really impressed. From the story to the RPG elements, it seems like one of the top AC games you've ever played.

Origins demands a lot from the processor. Feels similar to Watch Dogs 2, honestly.
