Looking for a modem-router in the $250 to $300 AUD range with Wi-Fi 6? It seems like older models are available, but I’m having trouble spotting options that meet those specs.

Are you requiring Wi-Fi 6? Would you really need speeds above 1.3 GBit/s? That’s significantly quicker than typical connections and is mainly beneficial for extremely large file moves within your local network. For such transfers, Ethernet is likely the better choice.

Do you have a Xiaomi router? It's affordable, doesn't have any issues, and looks nice. It supports Wi-Fi 6. Check it out here: https://www.mi.com/global/mi-aiot-router-ax3600/

With a connection speed of 100 Mbit/s, the 10 Gbit/s Wi-Fi won't improve performance.

It's accurate, the internet connection will also slow down the data transfer rates.
