Debugging light switches from Dram (3 seconds) to CPU (1 second) and back, repeatedly.
Returned from a 15-day journey to my PC built three years ago without any hardware modifications. When starting everything, it appears normal except for the absence of the display and debugging lights. Here are the details:
Specs:
RTX 2060
I9400F
2x 8GB 3200 Corsair vengeace pro
MSI Z390-A
Silver Stone ET650 80+ gold
Samsung 2TB SSD
I have tried the following fixes: cycling each stick separately through its RAM slots, resetting the CMOS, and checking for any foreign materials in the RAM slots. So far, I haven’t encountered any problems beyond that occasional blue screen about two years ago. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
For CMOS reset:
Unplug from the wall and display, remove the CMOS battery, then press and hold the power button for 30 seconds to discharge any remaining power, and after 30 minutes replace the battery.
Also try re-seating your GPU.
