Hello, I recently upgraded my PC a few weeks back and everything functioned properly. Because of storage issues, I had to reset it and reformat all the drives. After the reset, the CPU debug LED lights up when I try to power on the PC, but once it’s turned on and off normally, everything seems to work correctly. Can anyone suggest what might be causing this issue? I’ve already checked all my cables and replaced them.

Are you connecting an M.2 storage device? I’d attempt to reinsert it. I experienced this problem during my PC setup— the CPU indicator lit up because the M.2 wasn’t properly fastened. This issue likely stems from the drive relying on PCIe connections linked to the CPU.

You're trying to fit a M.2 SSD into the second slot of your MSI B550, but it doesn't recognize it in the first slot. You might want to swap it back into the first slot or install it in the same slot you're currently using.

You can attempt to shift it, as the top position offers the strongest connection to the CPU instead of the chipset. However, if the top slot fails to detect it, it might indicate a problem with the CPU itself.
