You didn’t test Debian on your hardware beforehand with a LiveUSB. My previous attempts with Debian haven’t gone well, which is why I’m now moving toward Ubuntu since it’s always worked smoothly for me. The error you’re seeing seems linked to webcams—try unplugging the device if you’re on a desktop, but it shouldn’t stop your boot. If you just installed it, maybe retrying the installation would help. Assuming you’re using a full image USB to an SSD, reinstalling might be quicker than fixing issues. If you’re using netinstall, your internet speed will likely affect the process.
Recently I installed the software from scratch, managed to open the installation settings, but the process stopped when it couldn't locate the release code. After trying multiple times, a fresh install resolved the problem. If rebooting once doesn't help, I recommend restarting several times. Updated February 10, 2023 by LCpro
After a fresh Debian installation, it remains stuck in roughly the same area, though less frequently the exact line is affected and no error messages appear.
Debian wasn't functioning properly, so I moved to Manjaro and everything worked right away.
