Debate9900 ks + z-370 Asus X Hero Over Clocking
I discovered a solid chip and plan to keep it.
Stress test results: 8 hours on ASUS real bench, stable.
Prime 95 29.6 small FFTs (non-AVX) also stable.
Prime 95 29.6 blend with 90% RAM stable.
HCI memory test stable at 1000%.
ASUS X Hero Z-370 Wi-Fi, load line level 6, all limits reached.
v Core BIOS 1.23, AVX offset 0, all cores up to 5 GHz.
Cache speed 4.7 GHz, RAM 4000 MHz CL-17.
1.22V passed all tests but encountered an error from BF5.
1.23V meets every requirement.
Should I purchase a Z-390 16 phase board for this CPU or continue with 5.0 and consider upgrading to 5.1 while saving $500?
Hi, your chip looks great! Regarding your question, even though analyzing everything a CPU can do is beneficial, a boost from 100MHz to 200MHz only adds about 2% to 4% more than your current frequency setup. The improvements you gain in games or productivity apps will likely be within the range of error, so you probably won’t notice it. I’d prefer that system and skip spending extra 500 dollars for a possible 200 MHz increase. Remember, each 100MHz boost leads to a significant rise in power usage and heat generation. Cheers!
