Dead Ram slot issue? Your new RAM isn't working with your other stick after changing the power supply.
I shared a post on the Power supply forum regarding my PSU swap issues. The problem was with my RAM modules—working fine with one stick but failing when another was added. Since they were purchased as a kit, it shouldn't have caused trouble, yet it did. What should I do now?
By replacing the CPU, I refer to removing the cooler and reinserting the chip onto the motherboard. If the CPU doesn’t establish complete contact with the pins, dual channel may be disabled. You also require adequate force for dual channel functionality. Occasionally, after prolonged operation above 85°C, the CPU PCB can warp slightly, making full contact difficult unless sufficient pressure is applied.
