Consider the partpicker listing for PVV532G600C30K as suitable, yet the MSI website shows 15 models from the same brand without the specified part number.

There are two challenges with using it; I'm uncertain about the timing and whether it could lead to hidden problems that aren't immediately obvious.

i would try it
if theres a module thats duel channel 8gbx2 with same part number then it should be fine how you can tell
the part i put in brackets is the memory size.
g
PVV5(32G)600C30K
PVV ram type is 5 memory size (32G) speed is 600 the final bit is cl speed with what i assume is the stepping C30K
so if theres a part number written like pvv516G600c36k should be fine
listed ones below i found
PVV532G640C32K there are only profiles 2 and 3 aviable in bios it will run at.
PVVR532G620C40K
your looking for memory with loose timings cl32 or cl40
i recon that motherboard doesnt list the cl30 kit because it cant handle the timings not the speed.

Thanks, but actually I saw 6000 CL30 recommended, which this is. It's a high end MB so I'd be surprised. IIRC also it lists other 6000 CL30 RAM.

It seems to be a negotiation between the Patriot and the V-color, with the V-color being $40 cheaper thanks to a Newegg offer.

Are you wondering if the voltage range between 1.1 and 1.4 is significant? You noticed different models with voltages like 1.25 and 1.4.

The tested motherboard RAM QVL specifications are what were evaluated. It doesn't cover every type of RAM, so other kits might still work. 1.1v is the standard voltage for base DDR5 memory. More advanced chips can be overclocked and sold as faster versions, though at a higher cost. Overclocking requires higher voltages, possibly up to 1.45v. Shorter clock speeds at the same frequency are preferable. Ideally, perform a test with memtest86 for a complete check. A successful run without any errors indicates compatibility. The key factor is ensuring sufficient capacity and compatibility.

They mentioned testing various RAM options and noted issues with some models. The v-color is out of stock, possibly replacing the Patriot. Prices range from $360 to $500 or more depending on the model.

Looking through some reviews of the Patriot raises some issues, mentioning poor heatsink quality and instability. Hmm.

Others note discrepancies in performance, stating they don't match the advertised speed. One reviewer shared:
"Heatsinks are a terrible 5 piece design per dimmm. They were already separating when removing them from the packaging. As they got warm, the thermal tape was already starting to separate."
