Hi
I paid someone to manually overclock my DDR5 because XMP wasn't working, even though it was using the QVL list. My concern is: if the overclock looks stable and I run Memtest86, should I expect zero errors or is it acceptable if a few errors appear?

What issues existed with XMP?
The only acceptable outcome from memtest is zero errors.

Yes 30$ if using an XMP game and software occasionally crashes. Right now it runs smoothly at 6600mhz, but I need to check for any errors before starting MemTest86. If there are issues, I’ll need to contact a refound.

This is quite possible the problem.
Anything outside the standard packaging is considered mixing.

And still, if you don't encounter any errors in memtest86 other than zero, that's a failure. It could be the RAM or the motherboard slots. Test with one RAM stick first. If it works, repeat with the same stick in each slot. Continue with another stick to confirm.

Last night I tried the 4 ram kit corsairs for 4 hours and the 2 ram kit g.skill for 3 hours, both using XMP profile with no errors. Still facing issues – 3dmark crashes on the CPU and y-cruiser crashes after about 30 minutes of testing. Likely the problem is with the CPU, though the intel test passed as well.
