Hello, thank you for reaching out. I want to clarify that I made some mistakes with my language earlier; English isn't my first language. When I started setting up the computer a few months ago, I encountered issues with G.Skill RAM (G.Skill Trident F5-6000U3636E16GX2-TZ5K 32GB). It was related to the XMP profile after it was activated in the BIOS. As long as the profile remains disabled or is enabled but the "DRAM Frequency" is set lower than DDR5-6000MTs (like 5800 or 5600), the system functions properly. However, when XMP1 or XMP2 (DDR5-6000MTs) are turned on, the system experiences immediate BSODs and browser crashes. Additionally, the stability test in AIDA64 fails quickly—usually after a few seconds—regardless of whether DDR5-6000MT or DDR5-5800MT is used. The PRIME95 program also stops the stress test. Is it typical for instability to occur when XMP is active? Should the memory operate stably at its maximum settings, as configured? Thanks for the update. PS: My system specs are already in my profile, and overclocking is turned off.

I didn't find that detail, sorry. It's about the board, not the CPU or RAM. There are 4 slots, but most aren't fast enough for 6000MHz or higher. My setup is similar.

If someone wants to know more, I shared the issue with G. Skill in Europe. The technical team recommended returning the device for warranty, and within under a month I received replacement chips. I tried them on the first day, but everything looks good now.

I agree. My setup remains consistent. Although manufacturers claim up to 6400mhz, a closer look at the details shows those rates only apply with one connection. Switching to two connections reduces the maximum frequency. My board (MSI Z690 Pro A WiFi DDR5) lists 1 stick up to 6400, 2 sticks up to 6000 (though in practice 5800 is stable, 6000 still isn’t), and 4 sticks likely reaching around 5400. Keep in mind that advertised speeds usually mean up to a certain frequency, and XMP acts more like an overclock, so stability isn’t guaranteed across all boards. The gap between 5800 and 6000 might be negligible, and tweaking other settings can still boost performance. Check out Buildzoid on YouTube for insights on RAM timings and how they function—some channels demonstrate that optimizing beyond just frequency and CAS latency makes a big difference. Following one of his videos for my RAM type helped lower latency at 5800 with his recommendations compared to XMP settings/profiles at 6000/6400. Your RAM might not be the issue; it’s more about how things work, especially with DDR5, where using more sticks or channels tends to push stability limits. Wish I’d grasped that earlier before investing in 6400CL32 RAM, but hey, it worked out. 5800CL30 with Buildzoid sub timings is performing much better than default settings (4800CL40!!!) ::EDIT:: I realized I had misunderstood some specs and terminology—like DPC, RANK, CHANNEL, SLOTS—on MSI forums.
