DDR5 memory appears as a single channel in the system.
Hi, I see you're facing some problems with your ASRock Rack B650D4U-2L2T/BCM board. Both memory modules are detected but appear as single-channel in the setup tool. You've placed them in A1/B1 slots following the manual. The KVR48U40BD8-32 sticks are on a very short memory QVL. You've tried moving them to A2/B2, but the system still won't boot and isn't recognized as a supported setup. Swapping to different DDR5 modules didn't help either. You've checked reseating the CPU and adjusting the heatsink, and you've updated the BIOS. Any suggestions? Thanks! Radim
You're welcome! Your Ryzen 9 7900 has been tested with various setups. Let me know if you need more help!
They stated they can't retrieve the current mode info from the CPU, which seems unusual since other boards handle it easily. It appears this might be a new issue I'm encountering. I'll need to test the memory performance to determine if it's using dual-channel mode.
