It's actually around $6.9k, similar to $440 but I kept the PSU at a more expensive 500-700W and used about 200GB RAM instead of 512GB. I didn't reduce storage to 512GB and have 32GB of RAM, not 16GB. A few of these adjustments would easily reach the $6.4k level.

It's good to know you're using an older setup. I'm worried you might crash if things get worn out. You bought it for around $760 two years ago, with 16GB RAM and a 5500 MHz processor.

Offers have dropped somewhat but not much, since back in the 5500s they were near the 1.5jt range and the b450s hovered around the high 900rb or low 1jt. Mostly the rams have slipped because they’re under half the price from two years ago (~250 or 300rb for a stick with 16gb at 600rb). The PSU was also down to about 800rb, which was still a solid deal at the time. Now it’s even better.

Ddr4 is nearing the end of its life, so if you plan to purchase now and save components for future upgrades, I’d recommend going with ddr5. However, people usually keep CPU, memory, and RAM together when selling or upgrading, which means it doesn’t really change much in practice.

64 gigabytes DDR4 is compatible with me, it varies based on the CPU/GPU pair, such as AM4 or AM5, LGA types, etc.
