I can link to the older versions but not the current ones. Access was granted via my firewall, yet it still prevents searching, downloading, or viewing file lists. What’s going on with the new software? It seems the old system is functioning fine. I think we need improved developers and stop relying on those unreliable users! Anyone knows how to operate the latest DC++ version?

Restart DC ++ and reboot the router. Verify that the latest DC++ settings are properly set. Inspect connection details such as mode (passive/active), ports, and proxy configurations. For newer OS versions, consider using compatibility mode for an older Windows release. Locate the DC++ shortcut or file, right-click, choose "Properties," navigate to the Compatibility tab, and turn on compatibility settings.

Recently the system has improved, allowing me to perform searches and retrieve file lists. However, the new software and Windows 11 might cause issues again. I currently have three DC++ applications in my firewall settings, which is confusing because I uninstall each one before installing a new version. Some of them run independently, adding to the confusion. The other options within DC don’t seem to function properly—they just behave unpredictably when they want to.

Remove all DC++ entries from the firewall configuration. Afterward, delete all DC++ files and perform a fresh installation of the latest version. If this doesn’t resolve the issue, try executing it in compatibility mode. Have you ensured your operating system is current? You might also consider using alternative DC++ clients.
