I installed DayZ, started it and everything seemed normal. I discovered the version mismatch—DayZ was .62 while the server was .63. I switched branches and the game refused to launch. After restarting Steam twice and clearing the cache countless times, I tried launching the executable directly. It triggered a system error about a missing DLL file, suggesting a reinstall. I’ve done many troubleshooting steps but nothing resolved the issue.
