So in that situation it wouldn't be too long, but for me it took a while. Mostly because I don't rely on standard controls.

He hasn't created many standalone videos; the most recent one was four months ago, which reveals a lot about the game.

It looked like he really liked it, though he favors the Arma Mod. I’d chosen that instead, but the Standalone version offers better long-term security.

The standalone feels quite empty to me. I expected a lot since we all loved the Arma mod, but we still play it regularly. It hasn’t been touched by anyone in over four months. The things we experienced in the mod are much more enjoyable and lasting than the SA.

I've spent 96 hours playing and won't be playing any more soon. The game has a lot of promise but still has problems from its early days. I know it's an early access title, yet after nine months we're still dealing with zombies breaking through walls and hearing random gun sounds constantly. Plus there are other recent issues—last couple of times I played I'd have a zombie I killed fall through the floor and get chased until I was dead, no matter where I ran. Personally, I've lost interest, especially compared to games like H1Z1. I wouldn't recommend it. If you watch the video by Byze on YouTube you'll hear all my complaints about the game. (Just in case anyone thinks I'm involved with Byze or anything, it's just a great video sharing players' frustrations)

You’ve logged over 150 hours and keep working on it every day. It’s really impressive, and I’m eager to see the final outcome.

I got Dayz Standalone soon after its release, but I’m unsure about some delays in the schedule. After playing only a few hours on various machines, I became really interested. However, I spent some time away from it to focus on other games I bought, like the Steam summer sale. Recently, I tried to play again and was disappointed. The game didn’t look like it had any meaningful updates, which made me wonder if they’d stopped working altogether. While it has potential and can be enjoyable for certain players, I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re hoping for a complete, finished version soon.

It seems the main focus is on its potential. However, during the limited time I played it, there were many hackers and it felt very incomplete. Personally, I wouldn’t buy early access titles—consider waiting another 1 to 2 years. That’s my opinion.
