Would it make sense to join right now? Is the character still active and safe from hackers? Can you play solo without team support? Thanks ♥

Dayz mod is even more unstable than the main game, and nobody seems to grasp that. P.S. The Dayz mod isn’t a game—it’s essentially Arma 2 with combined operations features.

Purchased it and then walked away. It lacks a refined touch. Massive control panel. Missing essential details.

Buggy, too many mods have changed everything. Full servers with simple rules are rare. SA is not great either. Only a few survival games feel worthwhile right now—Dayz/Dayz A2 aren’t the same as before and lose their appeal. Rocket also left because there were too many changes to fix.

When the mod was just starting out, I really enjoyed it. It hasn’t been played much lately, so I can’t comment much. Still, Arma 2 Wasteland seems to be working well these days! Edit: @Snickerzz remember to follow your own topics if you want updates.

It's enjoyable, though a bit unstable.

I understand it's not a game. The last time I heard standalone was much more buggy than the mod.

They destroyed SA, the zombies are going to cause chaos. You can't even resist them—they teleport right at you and keep hitting you. Previously, damage came only from direct hits, but now you're hit multiple times with no escape. It makes mele weapons useless. It's really disappointing because that was the game I loved. That was the one that started my PC gaming journey.
