I notice that on the PC version, the highest number of save slots available is 30. Now, beyond this limit, especially in other games, is there a method to circumvent this restriction? To store more data manually, you can proceed to save slot 31, 32, and so on.
some games might provide an .ini or .cfg file for editing these parameters, but nothing like that has been mentioned about Days Gone. you'd have to create your own backups by copying specific save files to another place and restoring them when needed. as for why 30 isn't enough?
I dunno, there are plenty of key points where i like to manual save and keep that save. Old school habit. I mean, some games allow you to save without limit. I assumed there were 20 save slots, because some games put the cap on that number, but i've seen it didn't stopped at 20, so i continued, then surprise, limit cap 30. Well, if there is no way to increase save slot, then i think the problem is solved.
In-game you're limited to viewing only 30 saves, but games typically store them in files within the Documents folder, allowing you to save as many copies as you wish from that location and retrieve them later when needed.
Days Gone keeps your saves in your user folder at
\AppData\Local\BendGame\Saved\
but the method remains consistent. You can maintain any number of slot #30s (and others) as many as you prefer.
