The display that remains active is the VGA connection.

In another discussion I mentioned buying a motherboard for £17.50 since the PSU stopped working. Someone questioned whether it was safe and another person joked about the PSU catching fire, while I noted it was a Gigabyte Z170 model.

No, the motherboard did not function properly before this problem occurred.

Consider using another CPU if it doesn't work—it might be a dead motherboard.

I bought it a few days back from an online shop for £125. I’ve reached out to them, and they confirmed it’s been fully tested, etc.

I can imagine you don’t have an extra GPU, CPU, or motherboard, so you’re looking to understand the problem.

I've tested two additional motherboards using the same parts on the Sabertooth, and they function properly. The problem isn't related to the hardware I'm using on the motherboard with the issue. I also checked two different displays, but it wasn't the display that caused the issue.

There could be an issue during the shipping process, which is always a chance.
