The service works smoothly across multiple devices and networks. Right now, I’m seeing this issue mainly on my desktop and mobile data. Refreshing can sometimes ease it, though it doesn’t always resolve the problem. It seems latency in Germany might be contributing, but I’m not sure.

This usually happens when I'm using my VPN. It seems to be a possibility for you too.

It’s feasible to connect to a VPN, and I believe ProtonVPN would be a good choice. On the other hand, I’m not sure if I’m currently using one; my desktop is still new, and I haven’t installed any VPN software yet.

I checked to see if a VPN was active on your device.

I've encountered similar issues with Floatplane. Smooth viewing is a challenge—I struggle with 720p, struggle with 1080p without constant buffering, and 4k is almost unusable. This problem appears regardless of device or connection type. I used to have no issues before; it's just become worse over time. Whether I'm using my desktop, phone, or home network, the experience remains frustrating. Even a few months ago, playback was fine. Now, every video feels stuck, with no smooth progress. At 360p, loading feels quicker but still causes delays, and 4k is even more problematic, wasting most of my viewing time waiting. The start of a video also feels like an extra delay. It seems the buffering doesn't work as expected, making it hard to enjoy content consistently.
