What other devices are connected to your network? Which router are you using? Are you relying on the ISP's modem or a device you own?

When many devices share the same network, packet loss can occur. It may also stem from overheating problems. During my past network issues, I fixed them by placing the router on a cooling pad and attaching a case fan to the modem. This maintained stable performance until I upgraded the network significantly. A faulty Ethernet cable could be the cause—consider replacing it.

I experience packet loss throughout the day, but it increases when my parents are online and using the network. I don’t believe my Ethernet cable is faulty since I recently purchased it. It could be due to overheating, though I’m not sure—I might have placed the router near the fridge.

It's a nice, cozy temperature. I'm sure you'd enjoy using that laptop cooling pad here: https://www.amazon.com/LIENS-Cooling-Por...B08SW4RWWQ

Consider checking if your router includes QoS options to prioritize your data over other devices. https://www.howtogeek.com/75660/the-begi...our-router This can affect things like Netflix streaming, but might also impact other users in your home.
