Hello, I received a WD HD TV Live Media Player but can't view any content from my HDD. I switched to an SSD for my data while keeping the HDD for general use. When I placed a movie in the 'Video' folder on my SSD, it worked perfectly, but the same file wasn't found on the HDD. Everyone has access to the shared disk, and all needed folders are accessible to everyone. Media sharing is active, and I removed the password from the network share. Despite these settings, I still can't see anything from my HDD. Is there something I missed? Could anyone assist me with this issue? Thank you!

The difference between the two drives should be noticeable. If you can open the folder but not see the files, it may be because the system is marking them as hidden.

The issue with WD TV Live not recognizing folders or files suggests a possible file system error. Check if there are any corrupted partitions and try repairing them. If the problem persists, consider reinstalling the driver or contacting support for further assistance.

This might relate to access rights or ownership issues.

The TV connects to the network drive and allows you to enter it, yet nothing appears inside. This usually points to security or access issues. You might want to verify read/write/execute permissions in Other, or in the security settings, include everyone’s name so full network access is granted and control remains intact.
