Dark Souls III on GTX 690 platform
This answer is quite insightful. It would have been helpful if there were stages like a beta version for testing.
Instead of 2x680, each card matched the stock price very closely at 670 FTW. That makes sense—680 is near a 960, and a 980 typically falls between 65-85% of that value. Saying 980 ti equals 2 x 970 and 690 equals 2 x 960 isn’t accurate, because such a match is rare. Still, Tytan64, you should definitely be able to run DS3 at full settings in 1080p with that card, assuming they didn’t misrepresent their specs. After all, the game isn’t out. Plus, this company has a reputation for poor port support. I’ll suggest expecting GTX 970 performance, which would still cover max 1080p if they were honest about their recommendations.
