I feel confident about its playability on a GTX 690. The main concern is graphics limits. If I had to estimate, it seems you might hit performance caps near the absolute highest settings while still aiming for around 60 FPS. You could adjust some parameters slightly and maintain others at optimal levels. Keep in mind that box specifications can be misleading or inconsistent. For better insight, wait until after the game's release when reviews and benchmarks become available.

It will be a FROM Port. Be ready for another technical joke—absolutely nothing worse than this on any system.

It should work well on a 690 without SLI enabled. It doesn’t seem overly vram-heavy, though we’ll need to monitor performance as the PC launch is still a few weeks away. DSII functions properly. What issue are you referring to? I can handle it at 4K DSR and my 980 stays under 50% load. DS3 will be available with the upcoming Bloodborne engine, so it should be more demanding but not significantly so.

They are deeply concerned about the less-than-ideal kb+m settings.

It's clear you're familiar with the experience. In reality, the game runs very smoothly at 60fps, whether locked or not. It's consistently enjoyable. Still significantly smoother than the 30fps version of DS1. Regarding controls, the performance improves greatly when using a controller. That's just the way it is. I don't see any issues with this setup either—it functions very well. The mechanics and overall feel of DS simply don't translate as effectively to KB+M.

I understand the preference for a controller, though it’s frustrating when keyboard feedback is missing. It’s unreasonable to dismiss both titles as terrible just because of their controls—downvoting them would be unfair.

I'm really upset about these terrible ports on PC. You're the one who knows best, huh?

Since the visual controls are what truly determine a port's quality... In short, this one factor makes it stand out. Why? Because even though the overall gameplay works well, the Xbox prompts make it seem poor... Smart thinking! Regardless, @Tytan64, if these tests hold up, a 690 should perform just fine.
