I've tried Dark Souls 2 and it's actually not that difficult. You'll definitely get frustrated at some points, but it's not as tough as people believe. It has a steep learning curve and the beginning isn't easy, but you'll improve over time. A controller is really helpful—I played on a PS3 and it didn't cause any issues for me.
I spent around ten hours on Dark Souls 1 and 2 to get hooked, but neither did I. It’s frustrating because whenever I talk about it, people think I began playing games back in 2008. There’s this odd group of fans who really love Dark Souls and sometimes treat other gamers who don’t share the same passion as condescending.
