I tried looking online but couldn't find any information. Do you guys know if X570 Crosshair VIII Dark Hero has fTPM capability? It's got TPM header but obviously everything is out of stock.
They often talk about how Ryzen CPUs include the processor built-in from the start, beginning with the Ryzen 2600.
It's already installed. Just turn on TPM in the BIOS, and your PC will work with Windows 11 now.
The Naitsyrk wonders about your plans regarding Windows 11. Are you considering upgrading to it and using it regularly, joining the insider program? Or will you be running Windows 11 on a secondary or virtual machine, which is the usual recommendation from Microsoft and most users? My question stems from the fact that I’m preparing to set up a new high-performance system by next week and want to get on board with Windows 11 as soon as possible. However, I’ve learned it’s generally not advisable to install Windows 11 on a primary machine, as it’s still pre-release and reportedly full of bugs—though many users say it’s actually quite stable.
Find the advanced settings in the UEFI under the "Advanced" section, which is usually the top choice. Check the bottom for details on each option.
It's working fine now. You'll receive a weekly update from the dev channel, though not everyone will get it. As long as it doesn't cause issues for you, whether your main rig fails or needs a reset is fine.
So, as I pictured it, I might have to postpone for now. I’ll be working on a small project and wouldn’t want anything to fail. Thanks for the details @Kilrah, it’s appreciated. I’m drawn to Windows 11 because I’m generally curious about it—its design feels more appealing than expected. The performance reports are solid and stable, which is impressive for a pre-release OS. I’m planning to set up a brand new system by next week and prefer everything to be fresh, avoiding any buggy updates after everything’s running smoothly. I guess I’ll consider this further unless you have more insights.
