Hello everyone, I’m facing a situation where my PC displays a black screen even though the case lights and fans are active during gameplay or program execution. When I power it off and then turn it back on, the system restarts normally. This issue mainly occurs when running demanding applications like Cities Skylines 2 for about 3 to 5 minutes, exporting videos in Adobe Premiere, or playing Dota 2. However, tasks such as browsing the web, using LD Player, or running games like Play Dota 2 do not trigger this problem. I’ve tried reinstalling Windows with different versions (10 and 11), updating BIOS, installing the newest graphics drivers, and checking chipset updates. My system specs are a Ryzen 9 5900X with MSI B450 Tomahawk Max, running BIOS 7C02v3x, Netac 4x8GB DDR4 at 3600MHz, AMD RX6800XT, using a Kingston SNV2S 500GB M.2 NVMe SSD, and a Gigabyte P1000GM 1000W PSU. Windows is Windows 10 Pro 64-bit. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You might want to examine your drive's condition with CrystalDiskInfo, even if it seems to be failing. It may not give clear results, but it’s definitely worth trying.

Have you examined your PC's internal components for too much dust or loose connections? Something might be causing instability. Edit: If everything appears fine, try resetting the BIOS—turn off the computer, unplug it from the power source, and remove the CMOS battery (the coin cell on the motherboard). Wait about 10 minutes, then reinsert the battery.

I completed everything, verified each connection and confirmed it's secure. The BIOS was also reinitialized. Additionally, I ran a memtest and my RAM is functioning properly.

Could your GPU be experiencing problems? Do you have an additional GPU available for testing?

I experienced a problem with an old GPU that failed, so I swapped it out, but the issue persisted. Personally, I believe it wasn't related to the GPU itself, and I currently don't have another one available for replacement.

It seems the GPU is unlikely to be the issue. Consider executing a CPU stress test, such as prime95, to check for crashes. If it occurs, you might attempt to re-seat the CPU; otherwise, there may be no solution left.

I ran Prime95 for 30 minutes but didn’t see any results. It’s really strange. Appreciate the suggestions.
