Hey everyone, I was asked to examine a laptop for someone. It appears to start normally, opening the login screen as expected. After logging in, it displays this unusual black screen with a window outline. I haven’t seen the actual device yet. I thought it would be wise to request photos and do some research beforehand, but couldn’t find any comparable cases online. Any suggestions?

No error messages appear, only issues during login.
