I've tested four Ryzen CPUs. Every board is identical. I used the 1300 chip on the 2700X to verify this. I can also test the individual chips. My concern is whether my board can handle the 3950X processor. I'll share updates once I have more information.
What's the price for the IHS? Are the AM4 and AM3 designs identical? You see dual-core AM3 listings on eBay for around $5. He probably won<|pad|> to avoid shipping it to someone who won't use it, so he's unlikely to offer it cheaply. He might be interested in modifying it for personal use rather than selling it.
