Hey there, I'm here to help. You're not receiving a message from your motherboard, and you're concerned about possible damage to your CPU socket after accidentally damaging the CPU. It's good that you're thinking about fixing it. Let me know what you find!

The system is functioning properly initially, with fans operating and power supplied. After replacing the thermal paste, the display fails to appear. When powered on, it starts but remains a black screen regardless of input. Removing the VGA cable triggers a sleep mode countdown, indicating a signal issue, yet the screen still stays black. I'm currently using an iGPU. Are the motherboard connections intact?

The vessel is struggling to dock, with fires spreading across every deck. The captain sends a message to the engine room inquiring about possible damage.

Notice several pins are bent or broken. If you're careful enough, you might be able to straighten them, but they seem very weak now—likely already damaged. This board feels almost like a paperweight, and the warranty usually doesn’t cover physical harm like this.

It seems the new thermal paste was put while the safety latch kept the CPU secure. This would have enabled the twisting movement visible on the pins inside the socket. I’m almost certain there’s at least one damaged pin left in the CPU, otherwise it must have fallen onto the board somewhere.

Additionally, repeatedly addressing the same issue or subject only adds unnecessary mess.
