I don’t know for sure, but a small scratch might not ruin your MBO. Just check if it’s deep enough to affect performance.

The trace remains intact unless the route disappears or merges with another path. It seems the connection wasn't severed. Could you share an image for clearer assessment?

Assume turning it on and checking the outcome. Stay alert to pull the power cord if sparks appear, though that seems improbable.

I attempted to install the mbo already, but removing it will be very slow. However, according to my memory, it was a scrape spanning more than two lines.

The fan light turned on briefly before shutting off. This happens only when I restart the power after waiting about five minutes.

I’d give it a shot, though I heard someone warn to be ready to cut it off if anything goes wrong.

There was no reaction. Might it be because my positions aren't precisely matched?

You're asking for clarification on a statement, suggesting it implies something about misalignment and whether it indicates a mistake with the motherboard.

They match the openings but aren't exact. I can fasten the bolts, but the brackets won't fit properly.
