I experienced several issues back in 2006, including blue screens and other problems with Vista, Windows 7, and W7. My friends suggested trying PowerISO instead. It seems to be easier and uses fewer system resources.

I assumed it as a storage solution for my images. Because I bought it, I could try alternative methods. This was my first issue with it. Is there a way to mount it on the desktop? I need that kind of access.

Mount Windows 8 support for ISOs by simply double-clicking them. They appear as virtual drives without any additional software required.

Are you sure about this? It seems odd even on the desktop. I don’t see a metro UI since I prefer something simpler. Which other extensions are available for Windows 8? I’m using .cue, .mdf, .msf, .cdi, and .bin files.

On the desktop, yes, sir. ISO file format only. You can change IMG files to ISO files and they function ('cause they're identical). I've never dealt with other formats. It doesn't make sense to use strange formats instead of straightforward ISOs. Try renaming your disks to ISO and test it.
