Perhaps, but I've set both input and output at the bottom of the reservoir. Will the water recycle properly if the input isn't pushed to the top? Picture provided.

there are no significant issues with this configuration. Particularly useful if a small tube is included at the inlet within the reservoir to prevent air recirculation.
