I'm looking forward to this game but I haven't completed Witcher 3 yet. After 150 hours of play, I finally reached Skelige Island.
The only details I’ve gathered are its title, a visually appealing but somewhat overused trailer, and widespread online buzz. Is there more substantial information about its mechanics or story that others have shared? Or is the excitement mainly driven by its status as another major CDPR title? I’m not trying to be negative—I genuinely think The Witcher 3 offers one of the most engaging experiences I’ve had.
The excitement comes from knowing the game draws inspiration from a classic pen-and-paper RPG that shaped cyberpunk culture. It also involves working with the original creator, Mike Pondsmith, suggesting a commitment to preserving the game's essence. My main worry is whether new mechanics will clash with the intended experience.
The fact that CD Projekt Red made 3 amazing Witcher games is enough for me. Hope they nail this aswel.
