Played Cyberpunk 2077 since its release and still enjoy it despite criticism. Game often crashes for me, even with the latest AMD drivers. I’m using an AMD RX 5700 XT and the newest drivers (20.12.1). Tried going back to an older version but it didn’t fix the issue. The crashes usually happen when I’m walking, shooting, or driving. Anyone else facing similar problems on an AMD graphics card?

I encountered issues with my NVidia card due to excessive VRAM overclocking. All other functions worked normally. Even 3DMark performed well consistently. If you're using the original settings, it might be worth adjusting the clock speeds.

It's interesting how your RX 5700 XT operates at its default memory rates. That's not typical for most systems, so I wouldn't be surprised if it's running smoothly. Just to be safe, I won't mess with my clocks. No other games seem affected by this problem—Cyberpunk 2077 is the only one that's showing issues. Appreciate the tip!

Someone at work mentions Cyberpunk often crashes on their PS5, but it’s unclear what that means for you.

Used 5600X with 6900XT, experienced crashes to the desktop. Replaced with 6800XT, played a bit longer before crashing too. Identical drivers involved.

It might be a driver-related issue, not just a standard desktop crash. I've experienced game crashes to desktop multiple times, but after several updates, it's mostly resolved. It appears that many players encounter this problem, though not everyone does.

I've been using the 5700xt Strix for a while without any problems until the update 1.05. Now it freezes during gameplay, sometimes in just a few minutes or up to half an hour, with no clear cause. I'm holding off on playing until the next patch. Still, I'm really enjoying it!

The update resolved my issues without altering the hardware or settings. I completed a couple of two-hour sessions smoothly.
