I'm feeling really overwhelmed. I got a new motherboard, CPU, and power supply after returning the previous ones via RMA. When everything arrived, I put the PC back together to try again. Initially, it booted into the BIOS as shown below. No bootable devices were found, which is fine. My friend mentioned the CPU fan was connected to a pump, so I powered it off and fixed that. On the next attempt, a solid VGA light appeared, but the 4090 wasn't detected. I unplugged it and tried again—still nothing. The board powers on when plugged in, but the front power switch and the motherboard's power switch aren't working. I'm starting to panic. I double-checked all connections—CPU, motherboard, SATA, everything was secure. Nothing seemed loose. I tried once more, but it still failed to start. After several attempts, I'm questioning whether this new HX1000i is defective. I tested my old EVGA 850W power supply, which worked last week before I shut down the PC to save parts. The answer came clear: yes, it still functions! The RGB on the motherboard lit up. I tried powering the PC again, but the issue persisted. I'm beginning to think my PC might be developing some kind of awareness and refusing to cooperate. This is really stressing me out. OS: Windows 10 64-bit BIOS version: 2613 CPU: Ryzen 9 7950X3D GPU: RTX 4090 Mobo: ASUS PRIME X670E-PRO 2 M2 ssds, 2 2.5 ssds, 2 hdds PSU: Corsair HX1000i HSF: Dark Rock Elite 10 fans connected to Thermaltake fan hub (Important: I flashed the BIOS to the latest version the day before installing a new CPU. I'm unsure if that caused any issues, but it seems to have worked as per the instructions).

The RGB being active only indicates power is reaching the LEDs, not much more. It might still be a DOA. Such issues occur occasionally—sometimes parts arrive damaged. The 4090 failure rate is still present, though it appears to be under control.
