Windows 7 will align with your RAM, Windows 8 closely adapts to your RAM or adjusts accordingly, Windows 10 will be either smaller than or equal to your RAM based on available resources. Windows should handle the size of your pagefile. Avoid interfering with it, and never turn it off unless you like the issues.

Very limited space available on your SSD (256-512MB). As mentioned by @GoodBytes, it's better suited for a larger drive like an HDD.

You usually choose a storage size and keep SSD unused while using HDD; matching RAM won’t affect it.

It varies based on your operating system. As I mentioned earlier, it's usually best to let the system it detected handle it.

On a system with 16 GB of RAM, removing the page file from the HDD is feasible. If you choose to store it on an SSD, a 4-6 GB page file will suffice.

The issue stems from situations where the OS failed to recognize my HDD, causing slow performance and Windows problems. Trying to restart was difficult.
