Turn your radiator upside down (fittings at the base) if your hoses can reach it. It's likely you've sealed off the pump. Your thermal mass should maintain reasonable temperatures even with limited airflow. The issue is probably your pump isn't positioned correctly or isn't circulating water effectively. That's how temperatures rise quickly. Also, having six intake and three exhaust fans will force your radiator fans to work harder than necessary. Consider adjusting the fan setup so exhaust and intake are balanced. A moderate positive pressure helps, but avoid excessive levels.

Edit: After reconsidering, relocating the radiator to the exhaust side might be better, keeping all other fans as intakes. This setup improves air movement through the radiator and reduces air pockets.

You can leave it on but the 5900x will limit it to 3.7ghz. It might help testing by switching it on and off to see the impact on render time. I’d disable those settings if I needed to render continuously. What project are you working on?

Yes, observed yesterday. Concerning the display, currently it could vary depending on the settings in Blender. I'm processing images using a render farm and collecting data for future projects.

Running with only the 3090 and Optix would likely be quicker, as my tests show GPU-only setups perform better than CPU-GPU combinations.

It's strange I don't notice the pump running, even at full speed as shown by NZXT CAM. I've never had one before, so I'm unsure what to expect. However, I did catch some gurgling sounds when I first set up the software. I considered switching to an all-in-one unit, but my 3090 was already generating a lot of heat from the exhaust, making it unclear if that would help.

Absolutely correct, just to clarify, I’m able to operate two runs of RenderFarm—one using the CPU and another with the GPU. That’s the current plan, mainly collecting data points (Sheepit mentioned).

I understand, I'll disable the auto-OC for that. A 90°C over time would damage the CPU.

The gurgling noise indicates air is entering the pump, likely reducing its lifespan if this happens frequently. To help, I recommended flipping your radiator to keep the air trapped in the tank instead of circulating it. Internal heat will slightly lower cooling efficiency, but the improved airflow might more than offset that, possibly enhancing overall performance.

I installed a Noctua Dh15 on my 5950X, which significantly cooled things down. The temperature dropped about 5°C, and changing the case further reduced it by another 5-10°C.

A solid air cooler is sufficient for optimal performance of a 5900X. It’s unclear why an AIO is essential simply because it features 12 cores.
