Current issues with the router during ping tests while another device downloads.
You and your brother are sharing a home in Denmark, and you just installed a new router with a fast connection. Despite that, when you play games, you're experiencing high ping of 100. The old router didn’t have this problem, so it’s confusing what’s happening now.
If it matches what you believe, it's referred to as "bufferbloat." Your router isn't aware of your maximum bandwidth and continues to increase it unnecessarily, making the only real constraint something beyond your router's capabilities, such as your ISP's limits. I resolved this by restricting my download and upload speeds in the router's QoS settings to around 90% of my peak speed. This trade-off meant a slight reduction in overall speed but ensured stable and quick response times.
