I own an ASUS Zephyrus G14 laptop with 16GB RAM and a Ryzen 7 4800HS processor paired with the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti graphics. The temperature stays between 40-44°C even when idle, which is typical during online classes. While playing Valorant I notice it reaching around 60°C—this is within normal limits for gaming but worth monitoring.

60 degrees feels the top performance you can achieve, especially on an I9. Around 80 degrees brings me a lot of satisfaction.

Above 100°C indicates a problem. 70-80°C is the typical range people notice during operation.

The CPU was tested at 100°C to ensure it meets the manufacturer's expected lifespan. Many users desire components that remain functional for a longer period.

In my limited experience, these types of thermal solutions work well with laptops, offering solid cooling performance under typical room temperatures.

We're discussing a laptop CPU. High temps near 90°C are typical because of cooling issues, but they're not a big deal. Other parts like the screen hinge or motherboard are more prone to failure first, even if the CPU runs hot for years. Since upgrades are rare, the whole setup is likely to become outdated before long.
