Hello, modern warfare here. It sounds like you're experiencing strange visual artifacts—white objects shifting across the screen and thin lines flickering. You suspect this might be related to anti-aliasing issues. When the game is pushed to its limits, FPS drops and the display becomes blurry even without motion blur. While you usually don’t mind the graphics, those subtle movements in the corners can be distracting. Have anyone else encountered this problem and found a solution?

Turn off film grain, choose SMAA T2x in your video drivers, and activate a sharpening filter. For Nvidia, enable this via the Nvidia Control Panel or GeForce Experience. Ensure you have the most recent drivers installed.

Updating all drivers is complete. Film grain is disabled, but the AA setting on SMAA T2X appears too harsh compared to its default look. To add a sharpening filter in the NVIDIA control panel, navigate to the Sharpening section and adjust the strength settings as needed.

It seems the image quality is low, but sharpening helps a bit. Navigate to Manage 3D Settings, Program Settings, find Modern Warfare's .exe, and check "Image Sharpening" there. Also, ensure the render scale in-game is at 100%.

Consider setting the sharpening strength to 1.00 for optimal results.

I begin at the standard 50%, though adjustments are possible. 100% seems excessive.

It would have been better if it was adjusted to .50 first, then changed to 1.00—it's much more understandable now.

I applied SMAA 2x and sharpened at 80%, it performs well. Otherwise, it looks a bit blurry. I prefer not to use the lower SMAA settings since they still provide good coverage even with sharpening applied.

Explore the drawbacks of post-process anti-aliasing. Experiment with the game's AA options and any driver-driven sharpening tools available.

You're experiencing odd visual artifacts like random white clouds, bullet-like objects through walls, and glimmers. Since you're using an AMD PC, consider checking for driver updates, background processes, or hardware conflicts. Run a system diagnostic, update your graphics drivers, and ensure no background apps are interfering with display settings.
