That's interesting, I was searching for single-player details on CS and noticed people mentioning Half-Life 2. I believe that might be the game they're talking about. I have it on Steam and can see my achievements there.
It might be an earlier iteration of the CS series. CS1.6 offers a tutorial-style single-player experience. Prior to CSS, the main SP titles were Opposing Force and Blueshift. It could very well be one of those games. CS crates are a hallmark of the series.
