I'm attempting to execute CTR 2.1 on this configuration, but it keeps failing the Diagnostic on Test 2 because of a temperature cap (90-94°C). The HWMonitor indicates a safe range of 85-88°C, yet the system still reaches higher. I've used an AMD Ryzen 5 5600X with the stock Asus B550-F Gaming cooler and MSI RTX 3070Ti, running two stock fans. I've tried disabling Performance Bias, PBO Fmax, Precision Boost Overdrive, VDDCR calibration, and Advanced AMD settings, all set to AUTO or OFF. Qfan controls remain disabled. It seems the issue might require a more effective cooler.

HWinfo64 provides detailed system information, while HWMonitor displays significantly fewer metrics. The stock cooler should not be used for overclocking.

After executing CTR 2.1, the significant power usage discrepancy appears. It seems the board might be underreporting the CPU's actual power consumption. A BIOS update could resolve this issue. Is this the most recent BIOS version?

Updating to the newest ASUS model 2423. I’m considering reinstalling the BIOS, as others suggest addressing cooling first—stock cooler runs around 60°C. I’m also planning to get the new 360mm Capellix LCD and a set of ML120 Elites when they’re released, which should lower temperatures significantly.
