Hey everyone! I've been working with CTR 2.1 for a couple of months now. I tried overclocking on my old 3700x, but it didn't seem to work. Most of the YouTube guides I found were focused on specific motherboards and BIOS tools, which didn't match my Gigabyte Aorus Elite Wifi. I managed to get back to CTR and managed to push my 3700x up to 4.375, but I couldn't reach it myself or with PBO. After some time, I upgraded to a 5900x and swapped it out, which finally worked with my new board. I'm now getting around 4.5 with boosts lasting up to about 4.8. I was aiming for 4.9 or higher, but I'm not sure how to get there without risking damage. My cooling setup is a NZXT x63 280mm AIO. Overall, I'm looking for advice on whether anyone has experience with Windows 11 and CTR 2.1, or if I should try Ryzen Master for better CPU performance. I've reached out to Linus on Twitter, Jay, and Gamers Nexus, but no one seems to have a detailed guide on the 1usmus software. I'm wondering if I'm spending too much time on this or if a better approach exists. If anyone has tips or videos on overclocking Gigabyte BIOS with Ryzen 5900 or similar chips, that would be great. Also, any personal stories about overclocking these parts would help. P.S.: Thanks a lot!

Only bios are available. It’s inefficient to use system resources for something you can handle through the BIOS.

Do you know what CTR is? From what I've learned, the system resources are quite light. However, I really prefer working in BIOS. I spent three months researching before building my first PC (in March 2020), but even with all that effort, I couldn't solve it. I haven't found much information about Gigabyte x570 boards that offer more details. So I decided to use the software instead. Thanks for your thoughts. P.S. : I love you.

I previously ran CTR and got 1.49V through my CPU at 4.3GHz for an overclock on the R5 3600. It was removed fast, so I switched to PBO because my cooler supports it.

I applied it on my 3600XT, which taught me how to use OC in BIOS. I ran Ryzen Master twice after switching to AM4, and it was never reinstalled again. I’m sure you can do it, because if you manage it in software, you’ll handle it in UEFI too.

I have your affection too. Just like a fist bump—no fancy stuff, no awkward moments. No need for that Deadpool or Iron Russian energy... but I really like Deadpool!
