I agree, I experience full mixes. Russians generally tend to be more aggressive, so I use the location blocker to eliminate Russian servers and usually stick to Western ones. I enjoy it when I connect to Scandinavian servers—I really like chatting with Finns and Swedes.
We understand it's slower, but the community feels the most welcoming I've ever met. If you like strategy and teamwork, this is the right place for you. Most games I play have players who seem reckless and want to cause trouble.
Insurgency proves much tougher, causing many players to flee if my insights apply broadly. This resulted in more focused and serious gamers. Rainbow Six Siege seems really fun in my view, so it might be worth considering as an alternative.
Usually I enjoy the Battlefield setting more, especially since I haven’t played Counter-Strike: Global Offensive yet due to equipment issues. Besides the rare intruders, it feels less hostile compared to CSGO.
