Hi, I’m really getting into CSGO with my friends and have some money to invest in my gaming gear. I’m thinking about upgrading my keyboard and headphones. My headphones are the Rebel BT on-ear models you linked, and my keyboard is the Microsoft Digital Media Pro from Amazon. I want to know if they’re suitable for CSGO—especially for catching footsteps or similar sounds—and whether a mechanical keyboard like the Red Dragon K551 would help. Would a better keyboard make a noticeable difference? I also have a Corsair Katar mouse. Thanks!

Hi, I’m really diving into CSGO with my friends and have some budget for upgrades. For my setup I’m considering two main improvements: my keyboard and my headset. My current headphones are the Rebel BT on-ear models from The House of Marley. I use the built-in mic, so I want to know if they’re suitable for hearing footsteps or at least comparable to decent options. Regarding a mechanical keyboard, the Red Dragon K551 Vara would be a great choice. Will a better keyboard really make a difference? Also, I have a Corsair Katar mouse—thanks!

It won't necessarily improve your skills, but it could feel more enjoyable during play.

game sense matters a lot. Are you okay with your headphones? Can you hear footsteps behind you? You’re the one with them, so feel free to answer yourself—what’s your budget, and that’s really important.

uncertain about headphones, but the keyboard and mouse seem fine. I'm purchasing a Corsair Void Pro refurbished set from the official site.

I would allocate funds to an improved display before a KB.

The headphones are fine. I can tell the difference between left and right, but it's tough to identify front and back. I'd expect to pay about $50.
