It will continue to perform as long as it has four cores or threads available, even if it wasn’t using them previously.

I believed the update lowered my FPS, yet they introduced an "Auto" option for video that boosted everything to maximum. Achieved 100 FPS. Most settings are medium at 200 FPS, though a few cores remain idle.

It increased everything to a high level and 8x MSAA. It was really slow, I prefer 1440p with 8x MSAA. I don’t need that 1440p performance. After adjusting the settings, the game stopped working and I had to restart it.

I discovered that running all my Phenom threads caused the game to lag. The optimal setting is 3 for quad-core processors.
