Moderators can adjust this if it doesn't fit the right area. I just started playing CS:GO and I'm not very skilled. I don’t know which matches will help me improve or which ones are fun. Should I compete in ranked games to learn, or risk losing everything? Do you have any advice on weapons since I’m unsure what works best? What do you think now that you wish you understood as a beginner? Thanks for reading and for the support. If there are more newcomers, let me know and we can join. Also, if you have players who want to play, feel free to message me too.

Avoid ranking without understanding. Check Warowl guides on YouTube, explore some streams. Start with demolition or casual play. After gaining movement and accuracy, try deathmatch or arena community servers.

Engage in a lighthearted or intense experience to master the game. Keep playing until you hit rank 3, then switch to a tougher competition mode.

If you're struggling with aiming due to mouse issues, try joining bot matches to get some practice. Once you feel comfortable, move on to unranked games to experience a real MP game. Keep refining your aim by playing regularly. Using this game and Black Ops 3 helped me improve—starting with K/D 1-20, after a few hours I consistently scored higher than average.

Get these maps to sharpen your precision. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/fi...=419404847 https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f...earchtext= Avoid full auto like in Call of Duty. Focus on mastering the tap. Stay away from ranked matchmaking until you're comfortable aiming. Don't use a mouse with an excessively high DPI setting.

People should really learn how to explode first. Explosions are the best way to finish in CS:GO, after that you can use sprays and only then apply tape.

It's been six months since I last played, yet I still have two Smurf accounts at Global Elite and Supreme levels. Mastering fire control and playing more conservatively are essential skills to develop. The first map I connected to also displays the spray pattern, which the OP can use to practice.

Press Ctrl + Alt + Del, open Task Manager, then return to the game using Alt Tab. This issue occurs occasionally for me.
